Sparks Spirit Hunters is a non-profit group of ghost hunters located in Western Pennsylvania. The group was founded by investigators Jim and Jared Sparks. We investigate public and private places such as abandoned prisons, abandoned hospitals and private residences. However, we're open to going just about anywhere that there are claims of ghostly activity. We approach our investigations as skeptics, trying to find rational explanations for any strange happenings that we come across. Using an approach that is semi-scientific during our investigations, we rely on electronic equipment, such as what is shown on our equipment page. We use this equipment to gather evidence to prove or disprove a haunting. At Sparks Spirit Hunters we tend to shy away from psychics and those who rely on "feelings" as proof of hauntings. We feel that these methods are to subjective and unreliable. We want to see something more concrete and tangible as evidence such as video or still pictures. We always look forward to working with other ghost hunting groups and investigators. Exchanging ideas, methods and knowledge is always a benefit to everyone.
